Working Student duties: MUST BE FLEXIBLE ! THINGS CHANGE AND LIFE INTRUDES. Feeding, cleaning stalls, ( 9 stalls at present), grooming, barn maintence (like pick-up and organize, clean up where needed, cleaning water buckets, tack, outside water throughs,sweeping, etc.) Drive tractor and dump manure and drag arenas. Full time is 6 days a week and part time is variable, but it take 8-10 hours to get a private lesson. Daily riding is included after chores are done. Receive: Food and Board for full time students. Learn to train and ride mutiple diciplines, driving, horse handling, the daily working of a horse farm, learn to work with young horses, and retraining. Get to ride daily, and the possibility to show and travel. Learn to ride on different types of surfaces- from difficult steep trails, jumping, to arena stategies. Learn to prepare young horses to show and BECOME A GREAT RIDER AND TRAINER. WE ARE LOCATED IN A VERY RURAL AREA OF OHIO WHICH CAN BE HOT, HUMMID, AND BUGGY IN THE SUMMER. WINTER CAN BE BRUTAL, FROM COLD AND WINDY TO WET AND SNOWY WITH ICE. |
